Why work with me?
At Trailblazer Leadership, I help leaders make the climb from good to great. Especially when the mountains seem too tall or the challenges feel insurmountable, I can help you forge the path to find the joy you are looking for on the journey. I help people connect with their purpose, find balance in their personal and professional lives, and take action to create what they really desire. I help organizations build capacity to make a positive difference in the world through supporting the leaders within those organizations to develop and thrive. You are a trailblazer, and I want to walk with you as you discover what's next for you and your organization.
Meet Steph Jacobs
Adventure. Growth. Compassion. Connection. Justice. These are the values that guide me. I strive to use them when making decisions in my everyday life and in the vision for my future. Whether it's hiking a mountain trail or sitting at the table in a boardroom, these values are core to who I am and how I intend to live in the world.
I'm on my own journey too. Starting this business has forged a new path for me. In my career, I have started new things, often the one to take the first step, always with a desire to move forward. I know that each step I take leads me further on the path to living a purposeful life. I'm fueled by connecting people and facilitating conversations that lead to new understanding, perspective, and action. I believe in an approach to leadership that is open, inclusive, and based in abundance. I love working with leaders in the nonprofit sector, but I support anyone from any field, industry, or sector who considers themselves a trailblazer. I am thrilled to bring all of my current and past experience to Trailblazer Leadership. I am a graduate of St. Olaf College and I have my Master’s Degree from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Throughout my career, I have created and facilitated several leadership development programs on equity and inclusion, systems change, and fundamental leadership capacities for people working in state and local government and in nonprofit organizations. I teach graduate and undergraduate courses in leadership and nonprofit management and governance. I bring my knowledge and expertise in organizational development, emotional intelligence, change management, governance, and living systems to support the leaders I work with. I am an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and became a Certified Professional Coach through iPEC. I also serve on the board of directors for the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota and Metro Blooms. For my full work history, connect with me on LinkedIn. |
My work isn't possible without great partners and friends.
